The Human Performance Laboratory (HPL) is a 1,200 square foot facility located in the Farris Center. The HPL contains a Cosmed Quark Metabolic System complete with cardiopulmonary exercise testing, resting metabolic rate, pulmonary function testing, lung diffusion, and a wireless 12-Lead ECG System, a Zeiss Primovert inverted microscope, a Fisher Accuskan FC microplate reader, a Thermoscientific ST8 centrifuge, and various exercise and fitness related equipment.
