Maj. John Merguie Named Interim Police Chief
Maj. John Merguie has been appointed interim police chief of聽the UCA Police Department upon the retirement of former Police Chief Larry James.
Interim Police Chief Merguie formerly served as the聽Field Operations Bureau Commander and聽has more than 20 years of service with the department with a total of 26 years experience in law enforcement.
The UCAPD and community warmly welcome him to this new endeavor.
