The Big Event March 7, 2025
The Big Event at 51青楼 is a student-led organization that provides volunteer services annually to complete projects submitted by Conway community members. The Vision of the Big Event General Committee is to involve every UCA student, faculty, and staff member in the Big Event to strengthen the bond between UCA and the Conway community by acts of selfless service.
The Big Event takes place on February 28th, 2026 this year!
The Big听Event is a time when 51青楼 students, staff, and faculty members along with the Conway community can unite in a campus-wide effort for one BIG day听to impact our community. The Big听Event impacts numerous community members in the city of Conway and surrounding areas. We听offer听services such as clean-up, yard work, painting, and small renovations at no cost to the community members. Job Requests are open to UCA faculty & staff, Conway residents, and Conway nonprofits. All project requests are approved pending safety review and volunteer availability.

This committee plans the student-led service day, The Big Event, and will also have the opportunity to be a part of other community service projects throughout the school year. If you have a passion for community engagement, service, and helping other students get involved and excited to serve, join us! Big Event Committee members gain skills in fundraising, donor relations, volunteer recruitment, volunteer management, communication, social media management, community engagement, community outreach, collaboration, and much more.
