Advanced Studies in Teacher Leadership – MSE
This 30-credit hour program is designed to enhance and expand your existing knowledge, skills and dispositions while further developing core competencies. Graduates are prepared to become change leaders for improvement.

Digital Age Teaching and Learning – EdS
Advance beyond the master’s degree with UCA’s fully online Ed.S. in Digital Age Teaching and Learning. Designed for education professionals, the program equips you to create engaging, learner-centered, and accessible learning experiences while building the leadership skills needed to transform classrooms, support digital-age learners, and expand opportunity for all. This program also is a pathway for students who may later pursue UCA’s Ph.D. in Change Leadership through the Digital Age Curriculum and Instruction concentration.

Educational Leadership – EdS
This 30-credit hour degree program is designed to prepare district-level administrators. The program is performance- based and utilizes a variety of 21st century technologies, authentic assessments and personalized internships.

Gifted and Talented – GC
This 15-hour program meets Arkansas Teaching Standards (InTASC) and National Association for Gifted Children-Council for Exceptional Children (NAGC-CEC) Teacher Preparation Standards in Gifted Education. Can be completed in one summer.

Instructional Technology – MS
Advance your impact with UCA’s fully online Instructional Technology program. With both graduate certificate and master’s pathways, you will build practical expertise in digital learning, online teaching, and technology leadership. Choose a track in Online Teaching and Learning for an online teaching license endorsement or Leadership and Technology to work toward ISTE certification and lead innovation in education and training settings.

Change Leadership – Ph.D
The Change Leadership Ph.D. program prepares students for leadership roles through an executive-focused scholarly practitioner model. Graduates will understand their roles in conserving, expanding, and transforming the discipline of leadership studies and research that enhance leadership practices leading toward an improved quality of life for all.

Library Media and Information Technologies – MS
This program prepares K-12 educators to become certified school librarians. Students with a valid teaching license complete a 30 hour program; those without a teaching license will earn an Ancillary Arkansas Teaching License as a K-12 School Librarian by completing a 36 hour program. It is 100% online with a combination of video conferencing and asynchronous sessions, welcoming students from across the nation. Students enjoy a flat tuition rate with no out-of-state fees. The program is recognized by the American Association of School Librarians (AASL), it is one of the largest graduate programs for school librarians in Arkansas.

Master of Arts in Teaching – MAT (K-6, Middle Level, Secondary)
UCA’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a fast-track alternative licensure program designed for career-changers and recent graduates to earn their license in as little as 18–24 months. This 100% online, asynchronous program offers competitive flat-rate tuition, regardless of residency. Most importantly, candidates can earn a full teacher’s salary while they study, bridging the gap between professional expertise and the classroom. With tracks in Elementary (K-6), Middle (4-8), Secondary (7-12), and Special Education (K-12), UCA provides a flexible, affordable path to provisional license eligibility and a rewarding new career.

Master of Arts in Teaching – MAT (Special Education)
UCA’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Special Education program is a fast-track alternative licensure program designed for career-changers and recent graduates to earn their special education teaching license in as little as 18–24 months. Most importantly, candidates can earn a full teacher’s salary while they study, bridging the gap between professional expertise and the classroom. The MAT in Special Education program is designed to equip candidates with expertise in learner development, instructional planning, and ethical practice, focusing on providing support and instruction to students with cognitive, physical, behavioral, multiple, and/or health disabilities from K-12th grade.

Literacy with Dyslexia Endorsement – MSE
This 30-credit hour program equips professionals to meet the educational and social/emotional needs of students with dyslexia and other reading disabilities. Meets requirements for the Arkansas Reading Specialist license.

School Counseling – MS
This program prepares candidates to become effective K–12 school counselors who support students’ academic achievement, career readiness, and social-emotional development. Delivered fully online through a blend of video conferencing and asynchronous coursework, the program offers flexibility for working professionals. As an ASCA-recognized school counselor preparation program, it equips graduates with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to support diverse student populations in today’s schools successfully.

Special Education – MSE
This 30-credit hour program is designed for educators with teaching license in other areas seeking special education teaching licensure. Content includes evidence-based practices for supporting student with disabilities including literacy instruction, research-based instructional practices, and behavioral support. Foundational learning incorporates litigation and legislation that is the basis for special education policy and procedure.
