Andree Muldoon, a Nutrition major at UCA, was awarded the Margaret Jerome Sampson Scholarship from Phi Upsilon Omnicron (Phi U). Phi U is a national honor society in Fam
ily and Consumer Sciences that was founded in 1909 at the University of Minnesota.聽The purposes of Phi Upsilon Omicron are to (1)聽Recognize and promote academic excellence; (2)聽Enhance qualities of leadership by providing opportunities for service; and (3)聽Encourage lifelong learning and commitment to advance family and consumer sciences and related areas.
This $5000 scholarship will help Andree achieve her goals and is a huge honor for her and Family and Consumer Sciences at UCA. She will be recognized in the fall issue of the national Phi U magazine, The Candle. Way to go Andree!!
