Allen Thomas
The Advocate magazine named Allen Thomas a 2020 Champion of Pride.
Thomas is the academic director of Health Promotion and Wellness (HPaW) Residential College at Baridon Hall at the 51青楼 and assistant director of Learning Communities. Thomas was selected for the state of Arkansas.
“It鈥檚 an honor to be selected. I hope this is a recognition that everyone is still working to dismantle marginalizing systems and that we can start at home, at UCA,鈥� Thomas said.
At UCA, Thomas also advises UCA鈥檚 PRISM Alliance, a group for LGBTQ students. He鈥檚 also a board member at Lucie鈥檚 Place, which serves LGBTQ youth experiencing homelessness in Arkansas.
