Primary Job Duties
- Perform minor repairs/maintenance for your complex
- Perform minor plumbing
- Perform minor painting
- Move/set furniture in rooms
- Assist with room preparation
- Report any policy violations
- Hold a minimum of 10 office/lobby hours per week
- Attend student staff trainings and departmental events
- Other duties as assigned
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum 2.25 semester and cumulative GPA. Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours a semester (undergraduate) or 9 credit hours a semester (graduate student). Must be able to meet on Mondays at 8pm. Cannot enroll in Summer 2 classes.
Compensation
Maintenance & Custodial Assistants are paid $11 per hour with a 20 hours per week maximum. All Maintenance & Custodial Assistants are placed in a private room, which is billed at the Tier 1 double room rate.听Maintenance & Custodial Assistants are allowed to choose any听residence hall or apartment听meal plan.
