Primary Job Duties
- Work hours at the front desk in the Central Housing Office
- Perform clerical work/tasks
- Answering phones/taking messages
- Lead parents and prospective students on housing tours
- Maintain your residence hall room to showroom standards at all times
- Respond to lockouts on main campus during business hours
- Assist with all Bear Facts Days
- Attend student staff trainings and departmental events
- Other duties as assigned
Eligibility Requirements
Minimum 2.50 semester and cumulative GPA. Must be a second-semester freshman at minimum. Must have lived on-campus for a minimum of one semester. Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours a semester (undergraduate) or 9 credit hours a semester (graduate student). Cannot enroll in Summer 2 classes.
Compensation
HOSTs are paid $11 per hour with a 20 hours per week maximum. All HOSTs are placed in a private room, which is billed at the Tier 1 double room rate. HOSTs are allowed to choose any听residence hall or apartment听meal plan.
