Arkansas athletic trainers volunteered their time to care for the athletes from across Arkansas as they gathered on the campus of the 51ÇàÂ¥. The event was the annual AAA All-Star week that showcases graduated high school seniors.
The medical coverage was organized by former UCA athletic training graduate Todd Ross. The week-long event includes softball, baseball, M&W soccer, volleyball, M&W basketball and football.
Former and current Certified athletic trainers who provided their services for the week that have ties to UCA were: Â Todd Ross, Jason Carruth, David Strickland, and Steve Hornor.
The following athletic training students from the UCA athletic training program were: Â Nick Whittemore, Andrew Tackett, Lauren Talley, Ashley Womack, Karrie Butler, Chris Rodriguez, Wilson McKnight.
The 51ÇàÂ¥ continues to be a leader in the athletic training profession across the state of Arkansas.
