Accounting Club @ UCA

The Accounting Club at 51ÇàÂ¥ is open to any UCA student who is interested in learning more about careers in accounting. The club introduces members to professionals working in accounting in a variety of different career paths. Beta Alpha Psi

Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) is an international honors organization open to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in a financial information discipline (accounting, finance, information systems, and data analytics). UCA’s Theta Lambda chapter is an award-winning chapter dedicated to the professional development of its members as well as serving the community. As an honors organization, students who wish to join must have declared a major in a financial information discipline, meet GPA requirements, and meet participation requirements. (Beta Alpha Psi is not open to students pursuing a Technical Certificate in Accounting unless they also have a declared major in another financial information discipline.)

Meet the Firms

Each September, Accounting Club hosts Meet the Firms, an amazing evening where you can meet 20+ accounting employers, compare and contrast types and sizes of employers, and maybe find an internship or a job. To attend Meet the Firms, you must be a declared accounting major, have completed or be in a 3000-level accounting course, sign up at least a week before the event, and submit a one-page resume. If you are interested, ask your accounting professor or stop by the Accounting Department.
